In late 2000 Grey Wolf Drilling started the Turnkey Services Department in the Houston headquarters office, centralizing the turnkey efforts previously done separately in each division. Precision Drilling acquired Grey Wolf Drilling in December 2008.

Precision Drilling is one of the leading land drilling contractors providing turnkey services to oil and gas companies in its core markets. Since 2000 the turnkey services department has completed approximately 500 turnkey projects in the South Louisiana, Gulf Coast, South Texas, East Texas and Mississippi areas.

Precision Drilling has an industry-leading health, safety and environment (HSE) initiative called Target Zero which places a premium on safe working practices. When coupled with Precision's other training and employee initiatives, these programs consistently yield top-quality personnel for Precision Drilling who exceed industry safety standards and customer expectations.
