With initial operations in the Barnett Shale in north Texas and Piceance Basin in Colorado, Precision has rigs contracted to U.S.-based multinational oil and gas companies that have been long-term customers in Canada. The economics of developing unconventional gas resources such as coal bed methane or shale gas require highly mobile and operationally efficient drilling rigs with well trained crews to provide lower overall drilling costs. Precision's Super SingleTM and other rigs are establishing a track record in the U.S. for exceptional performance with minimal down time.
Precision's fleet of versatile single, double and triple rigs is rated for depths to more than 21,000 feet. Precision can also provide customers cost-effective supplementary services including equipment rentals, camps and catering, wastewater treatment and oilfield consumables and supplies.
